For My Virtuoso

“These days, there are many well-educated mothers. You could become a good mother, too.”

The world is unfair.

If there is someone who has experienced that unfairness more closely than anyone else, it would be Aurelia Bernhard.

“An insurmountable wall.”

Aurelia has spent her entire life throwing herself against the limits imposed by someone she does not even know.

Then, before her appears Leonard Deimus, a genius violinist known as a virtuoso.

“I’d like to try playing the violin over there in the corner.”

“No.”

As if her already difficult life, in which she had no one on her side, wasn’t hard enough, Leonard seemed to have appeared solely to trample her down.

A man who would eventually take everything from her.

“I’ll offer you the position of my copyist.”

“No. If you need me, Mr. Deimus… then you’d better do your best.”
