There were also other things at the service counter.
There was a grimoire, a staff, and a knife that could be considered as the magician’s equipment.
What was especially eye catching, were the shiny elemental crystals before me.
I choose one of these and the magic system would be determined.
Without hesitation, I took the water elemental crystal. I didn’t know how to use this either.
For now, I will express my desire for this attribute.
When I did so, the elemental crystal in my hand became smaller and smaller until it disappeared.
Maybe I had used it?
Even if I did, I had not learned the beginner-level magic Water Ball yet.
But this was different from the game.
I looked at my palm, and understanding that I had become a magician, I roused the magic power in my body just a little bit.

In the palm of my small hand. A tiny ball of water was floating there.

As expected of a fantasy world! It should be something like this!
If it was an all-attribute crystal, then there would be more than one. And that elemental crystal was an item that was difficult to obtain as it was a drop from a boss monster in the game, and something that you would get in a treasure chest in the dungeon.
The sage…he wasn’t the sage at the beginning, but Gatoms had the talent for fire and space magic from the start.

Gatoms’ back was adorned by a few of the other crystals.
You could only choose one in the game.

I wondered if I could, and took the wind elemental crystal.
I was able to take it!
「No way! Even though you could only get another elemental crystal after going to a mid-grade dungeon!」
The strategy was to get the fire one that had high offensive ability, or the versatile water crystal.
However, I could obtain the water, the wind, and each of the elements.
…then let’s take the remaining fire crystal as well.

Moreover, they had other elemental crystals here beside the basic ones.
They’re the medium and superior-grade elemental crystals.
The things here, could not be selected in the beginning. They were displayed here just for educational purposes….
「I got them.」
The non-attribute was telekinesis and suspension magic. The space element consisted of magic such as teleportation and space break, and one wouldn’t be able to obtain it until the final stages of the story.
Ice, thunder, and earth were mid-grade. They were also unobtainable until the latter half of the story. Maa, there were things that I didn’t need as well.
I needed the non-attribute because it would be a hard fight if there was a monster that elemental magic was ineffective against. Space magic would allow me to instantaneously leave the dungeon and instantly disappear to another town. Maa, there had been a character among those in the protagonist’s group that had learned such magic from the very beginning.

It seems that with space magic, people would just say:『Damn, I don’t have enough MP.』
「Maa, you wouldn’t be able to get it unless you went to a dungeon that was at the final stages of the story…so I’m lucky.」
I had secured all of the elemental crystals and absorbed them. With this, I had effortlessly obtained all the attributes. There were attributes that were rarely used in the game as well, but I got them just in case.
I couldn’t stop smiling.
And then, I acquired the weapon.
In the early stages, the grimoire that you got promoted MP recovery.
Because the knife was simply used to attack.
「H, heavy.」
I was thinking of taking the staff as well, but for me who had a small body, I wouldn’t be able to hold it up without using both hands. I had my hands full with the grimoire and the knife.

…un. I knew it. Even if you did something like that, nothing would appear.
This was the world within a game, so I had already tried “status” and “menu”. Even though this was not an online game, I had also tried yelling “logout”. Of course, nothing happened.

This was the first battle scene after leaving town.

「They are Slim Spores….」
It’s a monster that appeared in the explanation at the end of the tutorial. They were slender and wriggling around, mushroom monsters with a red mushroom cap on their heads.
Defeating ten of them would be perfectly enough to raise your job level by 1. And, they were also monsters that gave you a bonus for defeating the same species.
「I have not used my magic to my heart’s content yet.」
Okaa-san had explained it to me, but it seems that if you used your magic too much, your head would hurt.
If I got a headache here in this kind of place where I’m by myself, it would be worrisome, so I will use my knife.
「Teya-!」
The Slim Spores were about as tall as my waist. It seems that they are monsters of the tutorial dungeon and were lovely enough to not counterattack.
I stabbed at them around ten times, and was able to take down one of them.
Next, I defeated the second one as well.
「Alright, the other eight, come on.」
A short while after I took down the two of them, I finished off two more Slim Spores that had appeared.
I got tired halfway through, so I took a break and somehow managed to defeat ten monsters and got 10 job points. With this, my job level should have gone up by 1.
…the knife was also quite heavy, and I had to continuously stab at them, so I was tired.
Let’s go back to my room for today. I fixed the lever and the lattice came back down, and then headed towards a different entrance other than the stairs that I had used to come here.
There was a teleportation magic circle over there and I excitedly stepped into it.
The place that I had appeared in was outside of the estate, but within the walls. A long time ago, it was a place with nothing around and now, I had teleported to behind the woodshed.
